Summer Camp

Greetings scout families!  It’s summer camp registration time again!

The first part of the summer camp payment of $150 is due by February 18. For boys that will be working on merit badges, those also need to be selected by that date to have the best chance of getting into those merit badges (some of them will fill up quickly).  Please have them review the schedule below and make their selections.  This document details fees and prerequisites on pages 9 and 11: CFL 2019 Scouts BSA Camp Program Guide. They will need to get approval and signed blue cards from the Scout Master.

Please print and complete the “Summer Camp Registration Form Part I” and turn in with summer camp deposit by February 18.  Several other pertinent forms are provided as well to assist you with this process.

Challenge Adventure/C.O.P.E. (Challenging Outdoor Personal Experience):    The camp has combined the ATV, high & Low rope courses and some other activities into their Challenge Adventure (C.A.) track.  Scouts need to be age 14 & up to participate in the Challenge Adventure program but can participate in the C.O.P.E course if age 13 & up. Additional Information is available here: Challenge Adventure at CFL.  The C.A. track does involve day trips to Devils Lake for climbing (extra fee $40) and there is also supposed to be a Wisconsin River canoe/kayak trip as well (add’l fee of $10-$15).  Sign up is for morning group or afternoon group which allows those scouts to also participate in some merit badges.  We are waiting for more detailed information on the program but the following link has the most current information available.
