Who We Are

Troop 23 is a boy-run organization and self-supporting through annual sales of Christmas Wreaths that generate the funding for equipment and activities. Adults provide support, but the boys have the real decision-making power. They plan and run Troop Meetings; decide on troop outings; select locations for campouts; create and execute advancement opportunities to move Scouts along the trail to Eagle; and, initiate, organize and accomplish high-adventure trips. This experience offers a unique opportunity to learn practical leadership and team-building skills.
