Money Matters
The troop holds to the Boy Scout Law and encourages Scouts to be “thrifty” and pay their own way in Scouting. The longstanding policy of the troop remains that a Scout must be in good standing to schedule a Board of Review and to advance in rank. Additionally, only Scouts who have paid their annual dues, any applicable program fees, and are otherwise in good financial standing with the troop will be included on the troop’s roster for the official B.S.A. charter. (Re-chartering occurs annually in November/December for the next calendar year.) It is the expectation of the troop that Scouts and adult leaders pay in advance for all activities in which they elect to participate.
