Troop 23 Facts

• Scout membership varies over the years, between about 40 and as many as 120
• 5-8 Patrols and a strong commitment to Scouting’s Patrol Method
• Troop Meetings are held Monday nights during the school year from 7:00 pm until 8:30 pm at First Presbyterian Church of Wheaton, at 715 North Carlton Ave. in Wheaton
• At least 7 campouts per year PLUS additional outings such as climbing, ice skating, go-carts, escape room experiences and more
• Annual week-long Summer Camp
• High Adventure trips for older Scouts (age 14 and up)
• Full Uniform Troop
• Active leadership team with large contingent of adults, many of whom have participated for decades
• Annual Fundraiser allows troop to be self-supporting and for Scouts to “pay their own way”.
• The Troop is sponsored by the First Presbyterian Church of Wheaton and is open to ALL regardless of religious affiliation or background.
